Mesa was bad enough for HR and Union to tell new hires to checkout Obamacare before signing up.

XJET family BCBS EPO is 377 a month. It's pricey but worth it considering how much my wife and newborn go to the doctor.

Nah, that was just the union trying to scare us. From what I remember the new premiums were pretty much on par with the rest of industry.

Yeah, but what do you get for those premiums? Read the fine print, twice.

At one IIRC point mesa FA's had a $25,000 lifetime cap on benefits. Premiums were low, but about all that insurance was going to cover was a broken arm. I assume that's illegal now.

Thanks!

However on this web(see below), it says SkyWest will pay $70 for each req medical. Does this mean if I want medical insurance for total of 4, Skywest will cover $280 only? So if I get health insurance with premium of $1000 per month, I will need to pay $720 out of my pocket?

I get the number $1000 per month because that is the quote I got when I called Blue Shied or cross last month.

Thank you

No the $70 is unrelated to the health plan. That's just the re-reimbursement for your FAA medical, which is usually not covered by health care plans.

Yes I believe that was the old plan. It was super cheap but the out of pocket max was ridonkulous!

AWAC's is amazing. Probably best or close to it in the whole airline industry.

I pay little over $400 a month for HMO which includes myself and as many dependents as you want. Little pricey, but never pay more than $15 copay for ANYTHING. Emergency room copay is $50.

If your single is an amazing deal at about $110-125 a month for same plan.

Just had a baby in October and paid the $15 copay. That's it.

The plans here suck.

Although the legacy is expensive, it is an awesome plan. Also, EVERYONE keep in mind, with obamacare, well-care visit copays(in network) are a thing of the past.
One good thing that guy has done.
