Do you know why they are turning down the flow? Can you think of a reason? How about this for starters.... Many of these guys are already 55-63 years old.... First year pay at AA is somewhere around $40/hr..... These guys are pretty dang senior, live in base, pick their schedules, and make over 100k.... Those are a few of the reasons for not flowing.

I just spoke with one such gentleman last week. He passed on his flow because a good schedule in the left seat with four years to retirement was more palatable to him than commuting to reserve in NYC on junior equipment in his 60s. It wasn't an endorsement of his regional, just common sense on display.
