18 firm + 6 options CRJ900

Do any of my fellow airmen have any information regarding these 24 CRJ900's? That's a large sum of money. I only know of a couple of regional operators who would have that kind of money sitting around.

More than likely these were bought by a legacy and will be given to a regional to fly. I'm guessing part of the PSA or Mesa deals

Could be an airline from another country.

Probably Great Lakes. It will solve all of their hiring problems! :D

Theses planes are to be hollowed out and used as cargo.
4-5 are to fly in formation as a replacement for some of the aging large cargo operator fleets.

They are going to Envoy.

RJ Pilot 07-02-2014 07:26 AM

They will go to the next sub-par undercutting, spineless, bottom regional out there.

Who knows if it's even for a North American operator, since it mentions nothing other than value in $. These birds are operated all over the world, and I'd love to see a Major buy some CRJ 1000s and start flying the jets themselves. Plenty O qualified pilots, and they'd finally have an advantage over the mil to major transitions:)

Air Choice One will get them to replace their Caravans. I mean how else will they run FOD-STL and IWD-ORD?

They're going to Silver, under People Express, Express.

You mean they're going to PSA? LOL.....

Avroman 07-04-2014 04:10 AM

They are coming to Endeavor but will be exclusively flown by the anointed E.t.D. pilots..... in other words, we'll have plenty of door trainers.;)
