Default 18 firm + 6 options CRJ900

Do any of my fellow airmen have any information regarding these 24 CRJ900's? That's a large sum of money. I only know of a couple of regional operators who would have that kind of money sitting around.

More than likely these were bought by a legacy and will be given to a regional to fly. I'm guessing part of the PSA or Mesa deals

Probably Great Lakes. It will solve all of their hiring problems!

Theses planes are to be hollowed out and used as cargo.
4-5 are to fly in formation as a replacement for some of the aging large cargo operator fleets.

Who knows if it's even for a North American operator, since it mentions nothing other than value in $. These birds are operated all over the world, and I'd love to see a Major buy some CRJ 1000s and start flying the jets themselves. Plenty O qualified pilots, and they'd finally have an advantage over the mil to major transitions

Air Choice One will get them to replace their Caravans. I mean how else will they run FOD-STL and IWD-ORD?
