Second the DC pros. Great noise canceling and comfortable (ears will begin to feel the clamping pressure at 3+ hours).

Is that TSO approved or can you get it TSO approved? I've heard this recommended a lot too.

As for DC's, I wore my trusty DCs for 15 years, and while they work great, and are rugged, there just came a time when I couldn't take the headaches any more....especially given the long days of a regional pilot. Trust me....the QC/UFM combo is a great deal. |

The saab isn't loud at all but I'm just curious. |

Clarity Aloft. Extremely lightweight, very quiet and super comfortable.

*Which* Sennheisers? Anybody tried a set of these?
Sennheiser HMEC 26-2 - Pilot Headset - Aviation Headset for Commercial Jets - ETSO / TSO approved - Active Noise Reduction NoiseGard? Currently using QC-15s with a TSOed UflyMic. Works good as well, even in a noisy 737 cockpit. |

I had a pair of these for years. However, for long range flying (>4 or 5 hours) the on the ear setup gets uncomfortable. They do work great, though.

The Clarity Aloft is a nice piece of hardware. Lightweight. Doesn't mess up your hairdo.
