Air Choice One

Anyone out there working for Air Choice One? Recently got called for an interview. Any info about the QOL, scheduling, the interview process, etc will be appreciated.

Thanks!

They do flying out of ORD by the Spirit gates, call sign is Weber. Beyond that I have no idea.

I thought it was scheduled 135 single pilot.

Have you seen this companies website? It's horrible! Broken links. Multiple typos.

They require an ATP but you only need 1200 hours lol.

They also have a clothing website??

Facebook page shows Caravans. There is an old thread here on APC about them.
This also seems current. http://willflyforfood.com/pilot-inte...hoice-One.html

I almost tripped myself running to the keyboard when I saw this thread.

The horror.

Oh yeah, I saw them a couple times when we are going outbound. I thought to myself, a caravan in Chicago, that's weird.

It's an eas carrier out of STL. They flying to Burlington IA and a couple others then up to ord. One year employment contract...ie a training contract that renews each year if they choose to retain you and you wish to remain with them. 10k value as that's the "cost" of flight safety. They do fly with fo's just as seaport does to extend the duty days.

They're always told to maintain max forward speed to the marker in ORD to fit in with the traffic flow.

Pretty sure I read somewhere once that they require a 10k non prorated contract for FO and 24k non prorated contract for Captain. I've also heard these renew every year when you do recurrent, as well as being on the hook if you fail your checkride. Just for pure perspective, that is worse contract and worse pay than RAH. For a caravan? A friend of mine gets better treatment launching meat missiles in a caravan in Chicago.
