Default Seaborne announces furloughs

For all you wondering if you should make the big jump down to the little rocks, think twice.

Internal memo from CP. Not sure how far down, they pitched a crazy plan of voluntary leave, half and quarter-pay schedules. Nobody volunteered, so they have to make their own 'drastic' solutions. Looks like a high percentage of pilots will be affected, based upon people I've talked to. Flight attendants, too.

Flight Attendants? Is there another Seaborne besides the one that flies Twin Otters and Caravans on floats in the Virgin Islands?

They also have a Saab 340 operation out of San Juan with 8 airplanes. I wish then all good luck going through this.

I believe it's a swap deal. Envoy is getting Navajo's (cheaper to maintain than pressurized 421's) and will be initiating service from DFW to Granbury, Mineral Wells, Waxahachie, and Sulphur Springs.
