Back it down a few notches dawg.

Honestly, flying jetzzzzzzzzz is not nearly as cool as everyone likes to make it seem on Instagram.

Actually, (OT) I hope the FAA does a raid similar to the 2006 YouTube crackdown and sends some certified letters out to these wanna be hackjobs gopro'ing everything.

Thanks for the personal advice Galaxy Flyer, I'm aware of that. I've sat at desks, given seminars through college, had $70,000 job offers after Boeing internships.. And flew every single day after a 10 hour workday because I loved it. I'm simply saying I'm going through my dedication and commitment to flying and entering the industry KNOWING what possibilities both good and bad lie ahead. I've been considering them since I was 6 years old.

Dude, don't listen to all these naysayers. You've worked at boeing, a desk, and have some $70K job offers. Besides you managed to get your PVT in 42 hrs! You are destined for aviation greatness and success.

Thanks for the encouraging words Rnav, although I hope it works out that way for me, honestly I am just really excited about flying and YES making a GOOD living not hurrying up over the 100K pay scale in ten years although it would be nice obviously if it did happen maybe in 20 years. At any rate I have a LONG way to go but I'm looking forward to it!

I don't look at that stuff really man haha, I agree with you on the YouTube stuff. Kind of surprised there hasn't been more regulatory stuff coming out about such events. It is cool to watch I think but I would never do it as a 121 pilot on my trips.

Listen man, the guys on here don't know what they are talking about. Just because they fly for a living doesn't mean anything. They've been dragging the rollaboards around too long. I'm sure 100% of them were nowhere near motivated as you are. If they had your experience and motivation they wouldn't be complaining.

Who knows maybe after you get your IFR, Comm, ATP you'll be ready for direct entry Captain. Any company would be crazy to pass on someone with as much aviation skill as you (PVT in 42hrs!). In fact, I'm sure by the time your up there in your career you'll be a Captain making $$$.

Good luck God's gift to aviation. I've had enough fun with this thread...

That very same passion will be used like a broomstick jammed in your tater hole, the management pogue on the other end will direct you to go, where ever he points that stick.
In other words, your passion will be your weak point and the airlines have that frequency dialed in to the 10th of a MHz. And after they have the broomstick set, they will drown your passion, like a gunny sack full of kittens and rocks tossed into the Pacific Ocean.
Please go to RAH or TSA, I would prefer not to watch SKYW drown your kittens. Its sad watching young dreams snubbed out like a bad cigar in a daydrinking bar ashtray.
Sorry the ones with the strongest passion, take it the hardest, your crash will be epic.
