what's the latest at AWAC?

i would like to ask all the AWAC pilots in the forum if they know the latest of the company. what are the prospectives for the future now that the Midwest flying is gone? is AWAC interested in aquiring more flying? what other rumors are going around in Appleton?

Thanks!

AWAC is always interested in acquiring more flying, they just can't seem to win any RFP's. They haven't been able to win one since, well, 2003, and that one was short lived because UAL canceled it. I personally would say the future is bleak.

Its not bleak, its becuase they arent going to lower themselves like CHQ and MESA, and GOJETS.

P.S. I am referring to CHQ's 70 seat pay, so dont waste your time attacking me for my negativity, if only CHQ pilots had the same attitude I had they would be getting paid more!

... I am referring to CHQ's 70 seat pay,

Chautauqua's 70 seat pay is ~$6/hr more than the AWAC rate for 70 seaters.

They don't fly 70 seaters anymore

Anymore? AWAC never did. But if they did, their 70 seat CA pay rate is, on average, $6/hr less then what Republic/Chautauqua/Shuttle America's is.

In your previous post, you inferred that the future of AWAC is bleak because of how low Republic's (Chautuaqua holding company) pay is. Republic winning 70 seat RFP's isn't tied to hourly pilot pay, so stop directing your knee-jerk anger at the pilot group.

...and no, I am not that Jack@ss that you speak of... it's already pathetic enough i spend the amount of time I do on this forum... i definitely don't or ever have spent time on flightinfo.

Thanks for being (mostly) nice about it.
