It's a harsh world out there. Also, I never mentioned anything about "murder" or "knocking" anyone off. I simply said it wouldn't make it to trial.

You do realize it works both ways, right? Being a completely random event of being falsly accused, you could also be accused of anything just because you did something someone didn't like. Did your daughter take someone's spot on the cheerleading squad or volleyball team? Poor parents of coddled and spoiled children, who would do anything to blindly ensure their offspring's success will start coming after you. Don't think it's true? Read the news. In a he-said/she-said battle, the male adult will lose every single time.

Obviously it is a possibility, people get accused falsely of things all the time, there would have to be some sort of evidence. But the pertinent question would always be, what was the male adult doing alone with little girls in the first place? Why would he put himself in that situation? In this case it was his own daughters, and if it is his wife coercing them to make false accusations that is reprehensible to say the least.
For the sake of argument though, any adult male who puts himself in situations where he is alone with little girls that are not his own, is probably not thinking clearly anyway. I don't allow strange men to watch my kids, statistically the risks are too high, therefore the odds of something like this happening to my own are minimized.

By the way, you guys are awfully sensitive to this subject, have I stumbled upon some undercover pedophelia community or something, hahaha. Have you been falsely accused?

I have a lot of friends and family in the teaching and coaching professions. I've had parents gang up on coaches and teachers when the "angel" senior gets replaced by an all-star underclassman. Little Judy deserves to be the star in high school and it's not fair that some stupid sophomore took her place. Or perhaps the parent of the child who gets a B and is mad because Johnny won't get into Harvard now. It's not that the kid didn't try, it's that the teacher graded him unfairly and is purposely trying to end his life by giving him bad grades.

There is no accountability for many of today's youth. I know of stories where parents go to college professors and insist that their child would NEVER drink underage and always turns in his homework on time. We are depriving our children of important life lessons. Instead, we are instilling in them a sense of entitlement. Yes, we, the older generations are to blame for this entitlement that we all complain about. We are telling them that they can have everything and instead of encouraging hard work, we complain to the authorities that they aren't giving their kind a fair of enough chance.

I think the more telling of this litigious society is that, as an adult, I can't even look at a child the wrong way without the parents thing I'm trying to molest them. I've had a child come up to me and randomly try to give me a high five and I'm so afraid of an irrational reaction from a parent that I just sit and smile. The percentage of predators in this soceity is SO small yet we are so afraid of children so we aren't falsely accused.

I see your point there, and I agree with on most counts. Children should be held accountable for their actions, and too many parents refuse to do that. It's pretty frustrating really. With that said though, there is no excuse for molesting children.

I'll go with 99% of the time.

I have received a message that I may have offended some of you, that was not my intention. Sometimes I say, or in this case write, things merely for shock value and my own personal entertainment. If I offended any of you ninny's (I kid, I kid), I apologize.

I was pretty entertained by you readily admit your kids lie all the time.

He said he has two daughters, sooooo, not surprising. Just wait until they hit their pre-teens and teenage years. (How do you know when a teenager is lying? Their lips are moving!)...:D

I think passing judgment before all the facts are available is unfair. If everything happened the way they say it, then yes, it's a horrible crime and he deserves to be tried appropriately.
