What a POS. FRY HIM! He'd be better off to tie a millstone around his neck and jump into the sea.
For the record, RAH has had at least two of these cases in the last year. Although these involved teenage victims.

What. No trial first?

SmitteyB 10-21-2014 03:10 PM

He was an EVP at National. The Colgan MEC went to him many times for help and to put pressure on national, he acted like we were scum (wouldn't return calls, no action)

Who's the scumbag now?

CBreezy 10-21-2014 03:19 PM

He should absolutely face harsh time if he, in fact, committed this crime. Why does it matter, though, if he was a regional/mainline/cargo or any other kind of pilot?

Wow...just, wow.

Any investigation into human psychology would clearly illustrate that most, if not all child molesters love and care about children. That's where the perversion occurs. I highly doubt any single one would be quoted or admited that they hate children.

On this, we agree. Let's just hope he gets a fair trial.

All suspects are guilty, period. Otherwise they wouldn't be suspect, would they?

And people still defend the worse than draft dodging practice of "getting out of" jury duty. Sickening.

We are of the same mindset. God help the man accused of a Federal or serious state crime. Your life is over, guilty or not.

Right because no one has ever been falsely accused of a crime. I thank GOD the precept of our legal system does not share your view.

That said, this guy will get a far worse punishment in jail than he'll get from any courtroom.

Mesabah 10-21-2014 04:37 PM

When it involves kids, guilty or not, you are done.

Holy misquote, Grumble. Try it one more time. And after you realize you've misquoted me, then you can realize Gloopy was employing something we high-falutin' folk like to call "sarcasm."

25 pages - easy.

APC forum goers love this kind of scandal.

Maybe after he gets out of the big house he can move to California and be a bowler - change his name to Jesús?

Since we are pretending to be smart: adding quotation marks around a single word signifies irony or opposite of intended definition. So, what you are saying is he failed at his use of sarcasm.

Additionally, you realize that the article you copied says that sarcasm is "manifested chiefly by vocal inflections," and "sarcasm is present in the spoken word." So, is one just supposed to assume sarcasm when tone cannot be conveyed otherwise in written text?

I would have thought that most readers here would be intelligent enough recognize sarcasm in the written form. Obviously not. My apologies.

(Great job pretending, BTW. Or is that "Pretending?" :D)

Do you post here? I've seen incredibly outlandish things written here seriously that I could easily read as sarcasm. Sarcasm is verbal. The author of the post was actually being ironic and trying to use a sarcastic tone as a vehicle to identify the irony. Since we can't tell tone in just words, it must be read as truth. There was no other way to tell that he was being ironic. Irony in the written word should carry some other kind of context.

I "never" pretend. I'm just plain "smart."

Okay, "smart" guy (your idea to use quotes there:rolleyes:.) He was being "ironic." I mean, ironic. You win.

Now back on topic.

I took the attitude out of it earlier. I thought you were calling most people on here not intelligent...which, in hindsight, I should have agreed with.

Are you being "sarcastic?' I mean sarcastic. Because you can't be. We're writing, afterall. Sarcasm can only be spoken. I just learned that.

Fixed it. Preach it brother!

Can we stop the childish bickering, and get back to the topic of (alleged) childish dickering.

That's funny. From the many posts I've read on this forum I can't think of a less qualified group of people to teach English. But you guys sure do complain like no others. Back to the topic. One of Republic's finest, Mustafa Bazbaz, is currently on the run after being convicted of sleeping with a fifteen year old.

Wynncore 10-21-2014 09:57 PM

This incident proves that you never really know somebody until...well, you know somebody. Also, you never know what goes on behind closed doors in any household, even if that household is made up of just one person.

The feelings demonstrated on this page are just and correct as any crime against a child is despicable and heinous; that leads one to wonder how many other people like him exist that either work with us at our respective airlines and/or are acquaintances and friends that we would never suspect capable of such things...as beautiful as the World can be, it has very, very dark underbelly where people like this exist...what is even more disturbing is that for every one that is caught, you know there are so many more out there that slide under the radar.

HOW ABOUT WAITING FOR A TRIAL PEOPLE???

Since you all want to drag his dirty laundry through the public, I happen to know this guy, and he confided in me a month ago that he was in the middle of a nasty divorce. His wife left him, took his kids across the country, and she and her family were coaching the kids to make false allegations to destroy him. Maybe it's true, maybe it isn't but an arrest isn't a conviction. a pilot's reputation is everything. Stop dragging this guy through the mud until he's convicted of something.

Exactly. You'd swear this was the "Nancy Grace," show.
