Hey guys...I was just wondering how hard is it to get into the turbo props at Skywest? Also, where are the props based? Thanks all!

The Bro (Emb-120) is VERY JR! They are currently breaking seat locks from guys that have been on the Bro for 7 months to fill classes on the jet. This is causing seniority to go JR. A pilot who was hired in May is now biding 9th out of 75 FO's in KFAT. The movement in FAT is fast so you will hold a line quick, maybe 1-2 month reserve, and you’ll become senior well with in the year.

Bro upgrade is immediate once you have the mins, 1000 121 crew and 2500 TT.

JR Bases: in order

FAT - PSP - SLC

SR Bases: Not in order

SAN-PDX-DEN-SMF-SBA-SBP-MRY (SAN, SMF and PDX are the most senior)

Depending on the last four of your social, that determines your seniority. I was #2 in my class and held a composite line the first month I bid and a hard line the second month. I heard there may be a class in February, but March for sure. Apparently, they are just giving everyone a break as they have been working the instructors way too much.

Did you already get hired on the bro? In FAT, I have moved up 13 spots in two months; and it is supposed to be the slow time of the year. There will be a lot of movement on the bro as there are probably around 40 fo's looking to transition to the jet. If you did just get hired, congrats and welcome aboard!
