All regionals are pretty much the same, that's to say you want to get out as soon as possible. Go somewhere that has new planes and is expanding and also has preferential hiring with a major.

Next year? Things will change by then. Come back and ask that question then. |

Which Regional??
Skywest hast the most birds on order, most domiciles, and the best group of crew's I've heard. Just raised 1st year pay to 24 (not that it's amazing but it helps some) It's not all about upgrade times imo. If you're gonna be at a regional at least be at a place where there's some happy people who don't hate their life and ***** all the time.

2 Things...
Two things I can't believe...
(1) That this thread made it to page 2 (2) That anyone actually took the time to try to answer the question seriously... |
If the goal of this thread was to flush out all the lurking airline recruiters on here, then this thread is epic!

If people can't ask those kinds of questions in all seriousness on this forum, it should be re-named to "Regional Airline Pilots' Crying Festival."
He was the only one brave enough (or perhaps inexperienced enough with just two posts) to try to get something useful through all the noise. |
It depends what your goals are. If you want to get to a major airline, then some of the earlier posts are right. Go to the airlines that pay the worst and have the quickest upgrade (PSA, etc).
If you want a place with great work rules, excellent QOL, great pay, and good job security, go to dental school. |
