First thing"s" that caught my eye.

I'm getting tired of the misogynistic attitude a lot of pilots have. There have been so many Captains I've flown with who'd be fired if they ever got a stuck mic. I know the last few comments weren't a big deal, but come on.

And what's with the bearded guy?

Misogynistic | Define Misogynistic at Dictionary.com

Just in case. It's a big word.

Can't comment on a woman being attractive let alone one in aviation. Which automatically makes a 3 a 6? Or a 6 a 9?

We finally agree on something. I knew it would happen sooner or later. Brofist.

Tough call, the SW didn't get fired AFAIK.

And if you've NEVER made a sexist comment in your life, I'd say you're being insincere at best.

That's a stub...at best! I think he just forgot to shave. He won't.

A new hire who doesn't even bother to shave for new hire groundschool needs to be fired on the spot. There is nothing you can say to defend that person that will make me change my mind on this.

Nothing we can say? I'll give it a shot. Dispatchers sit through initial ground school as well. There is a chance he is not even a pilot. How's that?

Ramprat 12-22-2014 02:51 PM

Wanna know how I know you're gay? As mentioned earlier...bottom right.

Also the bearded guy may be a dispatcher. They go through pilot indoc.

deadstick35 12-22-2014 03:39 PM

In 2008, I think the average age in indoc was 25 or so.

Red shirt got his hand that way from jerkin his gherkin while looking at a 787 on his computer. The chick in the white sweater is safe, that crew is suspect.

Confused 12-22-2014 07:51 PM

Big class, lots of older folk up in that scene? Former eagle dudes or Comair guys maybe?

myoface 12-22-2014 07:52 PM

Anyone else see the irony of the white dude in a polo shirt who has never been on the wrong side of anything flashing a gang sign?

Could that be "HidraulicPump"?

Maingear 12-22-2014 08:10 PM

I'd be hiding behind someone if I was in that class. Pretty unprofessional of the guy in the red.

spaaks 12-22-2014 08:33 PM

Wow that chick with the fake fun bags is a dime piece! Pretty hillarious flashing a gang sign too... Sign of what kind of tatent they're getting at psa?

Tatent? Hillarious? Dude, maybe you should take it easy on the eggnog. Not here to defend PSA pilots (the ones that voted in their contract) but I personally know a few of these new hires (including white sweater). They are all outstanding pilots who are looking out whats best for their careers. If you want to point the finger at anyone for the fact that 7 year FO's at various regionals have jumped ship to PSA, then blame ALPA.

Great, can you ask them to report back on why red polo guy flashed a gang sign? Please and thank you.

You're ****ting me, right? I just went through 747 ground school with a goatee and NOBODY GAVE A DAMN. You need to lighten up, a lot.

Da40Pilot 12-22-2014 11:46 PM

I think he might have just been removing a left-over Cheeto crumb from his shirt and the pic was snapped too early....

Anyway, that class seems pretty mature....median age there looks about 40. I agree, probably most of them previous 121 or 135 while the CFIs are the young faces....

I wonder what the CFI/Previous 121/135 ratio is at PSA...

You need to write it out in full: 747 ground school at Kalitta.

Pilottim79 12-23-2014 12:11 AM

Amazing we had a Captain leave for that new hire class after we announced all our new flying. Pilots, go figure.

aviatormjc 12-23-2014 04:33 AM

Surprised nobody picked upon Bruce Jenner sitting in the class far right with the glasses.

Check Complete 12-23-2014 05:29 AM

Ya pretty sure the chick has store bought, drop the temp in the room 5 degrees and you have a place to hang your jacket.

Time of the month runs for over a week, and loves to talk about her son timmy and her two cats. Of course, when shes not slamming her ex-husabnd because he didn't support her "vision"!

And yes she will be the first to get out and go to United because they could see her exceptional piloting capability!

What you're seeing in the industry now is called "scraping the bottom of the barrel". 90% of what's left out there for regional airlines would be throwbacks during a pilot glut. If you can fog a mirror nowadays, you're hired !!!

Salukipilot4590 12-23-2014 06:25 AM

$20 says nobody in that class can C-walk....
