Yeah. Today's RJ passengers have forgotten what it was like to ride on, (or have never ridden on) the commuter aircraft of yester-year: B-1900, Jetscream, Shorts, Metroliner, Beech 99 or EMB-100, ("The Bandit"). They're a spoiled bunch.

But then again, some of cities served by CRJ-200s and E-145s were served by DC-9s and 737-200s not too long ago...

The RJ200 flight deck is not noisy at all. I have a Plaintronics' set that works well. If you're accustomed to having both ears covered it will be a bit scary the first time you use it. LOL! You'll hear noises with your other ear that you didn't know existed.

No, it is not noisy at all but you do use an intercom for crew communication unlike on the larger jets.

I use the QT Halo. Works great. The Clarity Aloft would also be great. With their in-ear design you get a lot better audio quality than with over-ear sets like the 750/850.

Sennheiser HMEC 26-2 for anything that's a jet.

I should have been a bit more specific by aisle I mean right infront of the FA seat.

This for the win. Been doing it for years.

Really? I tried this and the intercom wasn't nearly loud enough.

I flew with Clark's for years lol...I know I know.
I went with the Bose and Fly Mic...it was awsome. They have a great payment plan so I think I was paying like 50$ a month. Funny thing however soon as I bought them I switched jobs and now if I were to wear a headset I probably would get funny looks.
Never dealt with Bose customer service so I have no comment on that.
I use my Bose now only for my commute so no one bothers me and they are awsome. I rarely get the "hey shouldn't you be up front or how are you going to fly from way back here".

Bose a20 but skip the bluetooth

Duksrule 01-20-2015 08:28 AM

This may be a dumb question but I will ask it anyway. Why would you buy Bose headphones then pay for a UFLYMIKE to turn them into a headset when you could just buy a Bose headset? Am I missing something? I have Bose A20s for my wife and I in our plane but wear Zulu2s at work. I wish I would have gotten Zulus for our personal use now. *** Bose is a leader in audio but can't make a headset that streams audio by BT.
