Purdy Neat
So I've searched, and I still have a few questions. What luggage is the best? I have many friends that think Purdy Neat is the best. I have seen their luggage and I like it.
- Of the Purdy Neat 22" which model is best for the CRJ? --Stealth? Suiter? NG? Laptop Stealth? Just looking for some ideas, there is over 4 or 5 different Purdy Neat models to choose from. I like the Suiter Stealth 22" anyone ever use it? Does it come with the flight case hook/strap? Thanks in advance. |
I've tried a bunch of bags and have found they all fall apart after about 2 years of continuous use.
Shop for the best warranty and then gauge which company actually honors the warranty. I've heard that PNS has loaner bags, but I've never tried that. FWIW, I have three PNS bags and they're OK. Like I said before, they fall part just like the others. |

Any PNS bag will fit in the CRJ; I've had a 737 Stealth bag for a bit over a year now and it fits easily in a CRJ overhead even when stuffed to the gills. It still looks brand new, sans a couple bent zipper grabs and some yellow/white paint on the back skidplate. I commuted with it for 8 months or so, and after seeing my fair share of Travelpros self distruct the past year, I'll be a Purdy Neat guy for life. They're pricy, but if you're gonna be commuting (or work for a regional that requires you to put your rollaboards in the back with the rest of the carry-on bags) you will WANT the PNS bag. |
Ive got the purdy neat with the lap top pouch and love the thing to death. Only downside is that my laptop has a 15.4" screen so its a snug fit which makes it hard to get it in and out quickly at security but it sure beats the hell out of carrying a lap top bag.

Tumi. pricey but fantastic and lifetime warranty for any damage.

I'm going on 6 years of a PNS bag. Works great. I've dragged it on and off busses, subways, and sidewalks to six different crashpads. Had it not had to endure being stuck in the back with the pax bags up to six times a day for 4 1/2 years it would still look brand new.
And yes, they have loaner bags. If you need to send yours in for work, they mail you a loaner in a box. You put yours in the box and send it back to them. When its done, they send your bag back in a box, put the loaner in it, and return it. Simple Careful is you buy one. Toiletduck will come on here and call you an idiot if you buy one. He's a seasoned airline pilot and knows what a good bag is. |
