Default Which Regional is the best ORD?

Hello all. I'm looking at the difference between SkyWest, Expressjet, and TSA based out of ORD. I'm a retiring military pilot but I'm worried I don't have enough hours to get hired on at a major right away.

Can I get some opinions on upgrade time verses work rules and quality of life? I understand the pay is about the same...

Thanks in advance!!

Put your apps in where you want to be (Majors). Be prepared for a quick call from any regional. I was in a desk at the end of my career and went to XJT to get currency. It was fine and I now have a job offer with United. Don't worry about upgrade if you have a decent logbook with the AF. You probably have plenty of PIC time and upgrade at a regional will probably not happen because you will be at your "forever home" before you hit upgrade. I would have no reservations about XJT or SKW. Not so sure about TSA....

Thanks! Similar here. Not much flying right now. 1200 PIC, 2600 total time. Looking for a place to fly for a year or so... At least I hope...

I had about 1500 PIC and 2900 total. You won't be at a regional for long. Pick the path of least resistance/pain and fly your ass off to get currency.
