No reason to buy ID90 tickets. Both listing on the jumpseat or buying ID90 would give you a standby ticket. However, ID90 is much more expensive....

The fact that my smallish freight company is part 121, has CASS, and recip J/S agreements with Expressjet/UAL probably won't help. Does that sound accurate? I know I could just 'try it & see what happens,' but would rather get some idea first. Thx.

It would help if you knew the loads for the flights. If you know anyone who works for UA or UAX carrier, ask them to look at the loads. If not, you can always join the Loadshare group on FB and people will look up loads for you.

But you are being told is correct. You can not int'l jumpseat in the flight deck except if it's your own metal. So you will need to look for flights that have the best shot at open seats.
