Believe it or not most guys already bid out of JFK. And I am talking about guys still in training. Our class had a 100% pass rate but it was a small class. They say usually they have about a 75% to 90% pass rate. The new program extends the sim time and is aimed at the lower time pilots. It is not an easy training program by any means and you will end up with about 50 hours in the sim. Toward the end it gets fun when it all comes together for you in the sim.

good luck

Default MCO Bid

I know a guy that started here in July 2006, and got an MCO FO bid. Don't just write it off because you're junior.

Any of you OH guys have any idea what kind of seniority a BOS base would bring? I know it's barely a rumor from what I've read here but I'm wondering if anyone has any idea how many people would go for that. It would make applying very very appealing....

Thanks

My guess (and its just a guess, not based on anything) but a BOS base would bring closure of the MCO base and a big reduction out of GSO. Currently we are beefing up New York and the Northeast and slowly reducing our flying out the south/west. If Delta wants us to connect flights for their new big seller (the international routes) more flights into JFK and BOS make sense.
