Default Weird Delta Conncection Route

Hey fools,

I was at Trenton Mercer airport in NJ yesterday (TTN). While there I saw an odd sight: a Comair CRJ (it was the special Cincinatti colors. Wish I had my camera). When I got home I looked it up on flightaware and the delta website and sure enough it was a scheduled turn from/to ATL. Isn't this a sort of pointless destination since Trenton NJ is not that far from both PHL and NYC???

yes and no..its probably an easier commute for alot of people in New Jersey if they want to go somewhere instead of driving to NYC or Philly even though they have to connect through Atlanta. Jetblue is kind of doing the same with going to every airpor in NYC....kind of pointless but then again a real easy commute because their is so many options.
