That was a cheap shot, but not surprising coming from you. I'd rather see you leave than him. He built a very large and successful business from very small beginnings. He treats his employees better than other regional airlines do. He deserves respect for what he built .

100% agree. After talking to both, I would take JA over CC any day. JA is a good businessman but you know that he feels connected to a company he built. CC is a glorified bean counter that won't listen to anything unless you can show him how it will make money. Sad day for SW.

I was fortunate enough to have Jerry in the Jumpseat. All the rumors of his good character were true.
After the flight a Skyw pilot needed help and he got on his phone and made some calls.
I believe he has been almost out the door for a while, as in there really won't be much of a transition period.

Not looking forward to the future of SKYW Inc.

When chimp took over, Jerry became the Idea/Concept guy, while he didn't have his hands on the tiller he did direct the process. Make no mistake, this is a paradigm shift, the magnitude is yet to be determined.

If it makes you feel any better, JA will remain as the Chairman of the Board.
