Default Midwest Bases

Looking for a regional airline with a base in midwest area. From the KC area and will be applying to places within the next month. I would rather live near base than chase upgrade times or signing bonuses. I know Republic flies out of KC but just don't know how the new contact will hold up. I understand it is all a gamble at this point but looking for suggestions.

There is really only one good choice out there right now, Skywest.

If you go with GJ or TSA you will not be happy but of the two TSA is the better choice.

Envoy in Chicago but the company does not mind making hugh changes if it thinks it will save them money. It they can make a few dollars they will close it down like Delta did to Comair. They might form another airline like NW did with Compass and then sell it off so that they can use it as another bidder to keep costs of pilots down.

How about ExpressJet and their Dallas base? Any outlook on that base? Possibly closing next spring?

SkyWest MSP and ORD are super Jr.. Your QOL will go up quick. Then when you upgrade you wont have to change base or comute... I always say go for the best QOL.

Not a regional, but Executive AirShare has a base in KC if you want to skip republic and the commute.
