Let me get this straight using an example. Colgan gets a "Colgan" union associated with ALPA. PT decides he doesn't like what this new union is demanding for flying Saabs or anything bigger. He begins awarding the flying instead to Pinnacle pilots. So collectively, what are the Pinnacle pilots going to do besides give the link to the online application at Pinnacle?

My question is...why are we getting rid of the 1900s? Does US Airways want them gone? It's a money-maker.

Not sure why the beeches are headed out. I thought it was only those 2 airframes that were about to time out. MAybe it will be whipsaw, maybe he will sell they damn comapny to someone else. Nobody knows. Nobody thought the colgans would sell in the first place. Even if we went union today, a contract wouldn't be in place for at least a year. A q400 wouldnt be delivered for a long time also. Time will tell i'm sure.

We both win with a union. What we're shooting for is an eventual merged union representing all Pinnacle Corp pilots together. This keeps PT from using our low pay and work rules as a bargaining tool against Pinnacle Inc pilots, and keeps them from using PCL guys against us for the Saab and Q4, ATR, or whatever we end up getting.

Which 1900's were those? I know 221CJ was supposed to go but I keep seeing it. I think getting rid of the 1900's will be bad for some bases because of the fire/rescue deal.
