Comair and the ATP Written

Hey guys, I have a question regarding Comair and the ATP written. Is the ATP written required to interview or do they just require it before you start class? I have been unable to reach a pilot recruiter and no one in HR knows the answer. Thanks for your help!

Oz, yeah I saw your post and saw that no one answered your question that's why I started this thread. I too would like to "get er done" but I simply can not afford the test right now. Surely someone out there knows the answer!

ATP Written is required before class starts. Theres been about 15 posts about this since middle of January, use the search function. Not blaming you, I'm lazy too (hell I'm a pilot, huh?)

Recommend you get the ATP practical if you intend to have a career - the written is only good for 2 years. I know it costs some money BUT you might as well do it and get it over with - shows you're serious to have it - not just the written.

ATP written stays valid so long as you work for a 121 carrier.

Speaking of the ATP....I noticed there's an ATP and an ATP-EX? Is there any advantage/requirement for taking one over the other or is a written a written? Thanks in advance
