Thanks for all the input folks!!

The one thing I did not see was if anyone had any issues using company apps or websites on a particular OS? For example, an app that won't work well on Android phones, but Apple works just fine, or vice versa?

I personally found Envoy's MobileCCI slow and cumbersome on Android. I made the switch to iPhone last year and part of that was peaking over coworker's shoulders and noticing on their iOS devices that MobileCCI was loading much faster and more smoothly. I am actually happy with the switch.

Also using our mobileFOS device, the programmable pf keys which make a simple script will work on an iOS device but seems to have major issues with Android.

Having information at your finger tips is becoming a slave? Sure you might not need passrider.com or your id90 page available to you in your pocket to function, but trust me, that access to that stuff so readily is a blessing when it hits the fan while non rev traveling

Beeper and a sack of quarters. That's how I roll always a payphone around.

I haven't seen a pay phone since I was in Germany in 1994. Do they still have working ones here?

I refused to use my cell at my regional and routinely used pay phones inside the terminal to call MX on write-ups if the gate's phone didn't work.

My Android phone has worked well on AA's FOS site, not sure what the guy above was referring to. Maybe he had an older phone.

I wouldn't base my phone decision on the use of company web sites, personally.

Cricket offers a good nationwide plan for $35/month using AT&T towers.

I use Trac Phone. I was on AT&T for about a decade. Tmobile for a year and a half. This works just as good or better that either of them. I was paying 180/210 for those plans with my wife. Now its just 85 for the both of us!!
