No, not when CAL had lower bids for the Q flying from other companies but chose COLGAN because of our performance in IAH. PNCL didn't earn the flying, we did. They're just helping finance it.

another reason why if the skywest pilots vote alpa onto property they deserve the 7 year upgrade that will come with it.

please...colgan stole money from pinnacle

people think about planes...when in fact a majority of the planes are leased at colgan. the parts department is hardly even a parts department. everything has to be ordered or brought in from somehwere else...or my favorite borrowed off of a broke airplane as colgan will say is "more borke than the other one"

it all comes down to a certificate...that is what they want first and foremost

also the codeshare partners in airways, co, and ual. that expands their horizon.

but what the most important thing is with the new certificate...are you ready for this...

will get them around any scope clause with nwa...so if three years down the road they want to bid for flying with lets say delta...they can get around a clause with nwa and put the new flying at colgan...

ie...freedom and shuttle america

shuttle america certificate was bought for i believe a million or less and they flew saabs...

200-300 million is like a a pre-school kid coming to the airport saying his dad owns a 172 and it cost 300 million dollars...

colgan was quick to sell...the got 10mil up front and i believe it was a note for 10mil in a year...and probably some sort of agreement for the time being for the family to keep their job...

the question i have is...will he start another company...that is all the family knows...hell all of them work there

YOU'RE BOTH RIGHT!

No, they weren't about to drop us, that is a lie. Our operation stats out of IAH are pretty impressive, actually. SAAB, stop spreading that rediculous information.

98% completion rate and a 86% on-time percentage. I don't have any documentation of this, just a conference call.

With that being said, CAL didn't pick us because of our good performance out of IAH......We're cheap.

haha yeah I dont have any documentation either, just rumors :)

I know you didn't have any documentation because as was just stated, our numbers have been spot on!

CAL has been impressed with how quickly Colgan got up and running and they're numbers are really good for completion and on-time, exceeding CAL's requests.

And no, its not because we're cheap, because there was a cheaper bid put in, but they chose Colgan because they felt Colgan had delivered for them once and could again.
