Associates degree sufficient for hire??

Hey, everyone. I currently have my associates degree. Will the lack of a 4 year degree hold me back from picking up a job with the regionals? I am currently preparing to attend ATP's airline pilot program so within the next couple years all other requirements will be met.

You'll be fine.

Regionals, no. Probably not even most majors.

For a regional? 1500 hours and pulse will get you hired.

Regionals

Be able to hold a 2nd class medical and a pulse to get hired... Make it thru training with a max of around 40 sims. I kid on the number of sims, but in this day and age, they will work with you... Pick where you would like to go.

Sad but true

I got an email the other day inviting me to an open house pilot interview. I haven't applied to a regional airline in 12 years

If you have a DUI and an arrest record your still getting hired. Just make sure you have the time and a pulse, along with the ability to lick the window and cruise with your earbuds in.
