Luggage?

Any recommendations for luggage for crew? I have a flight bag but all my trips at my previous job were back in base each day and never really needed to pack anything. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Timbuk2 Copilot. Once you get over how lame it is to be a FO with a bag called the Copilot, you'll find it's really good. Best roller bag I've ever used.

ditto… spend the 300 and you'll be very pleased.

My first "Stealth" was an original Purdy Neat Things 22". It lasted through seven years of RJ abuse. My second was Luggage Works and it lasted three. The one I have now is going back for repair for the third time in two years.

Unravelled stitching, broken wheel mount and zipper, and now another zipper.

The quality of these bags is in steep decline based on my experience. They were pretty good back when they were PNT. Now that they are LW, not so much. YMMV

I've had my luggage works for about 9 years. The only thing I've done is changed the wheels once a couple of years ago because the bearings went out after a really nasty winter of dragging it through slush and deicer. I went through a couple of travel pros before buying this one, they're only good for a year or two. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for a good bag, it's cheaper in the long run.

I just got the LuggageWorks Executive Aviator 22". In a way like the Stealth, but only the corners are metal. Rest of the edges are plastic but a few pilots I've talked to say it's still lasted a good amount of RJ use. 80 dollars less than Stealth. Slightly lighter too.
