What's funny about pilots:
1. We will ALWAYS complain about money/schedules
2. It is said that pilots have the same intellect as brain surgeons but for some reason, we weren't smart enough to research our prospective careers BEFORE we signed up

...remember, we CHOSE this profession, it didn't choose us.:D

My research went as follows:

"I hear pilots can make 6 figures and get a crap load of time off! I want to be a pilot!"

The rest is history.

I was in a local flight school the other day and they had a sign that said "Airline Captains make $200,000 per year." It made me sick to see it. It's too bad the new pilots are being lied to like this.

Dude.... thats awesome to hear. Im just glad Im not the only one.

My friends always say, "Man you are going to make so much money as a pilot." I never really know what to say, other than "Say thanks to the pilots if you ever fly on a small plane..." I guess if you have a passion for flying it dampens the pain of not being paid well enough.
