Rangi,

Thanks for taking the time with these answers. I really appreciate it. the long upgrades speaks a lot to the company as a long term employee. My wife and would be moving to ANC to improve our quality of life, not get rich. Were is a position that moving up there would get us pretty close to debt free fortunately so we're looking for jobs that's more about QOL than $$.

Thanks again!

Sounds AWESOME. I'd never leave.

Just as a heads up, right now you won't get based in Anchorage if you come to penair.

How about ANC for QX?

I've heard it on this board that it's senior for FO's, but the guys I know who fly over there say the FO's will be leaving ANC as they upgrade this Fall.

I'd switch in a heartbeat if I could get ANC.

This is all good info for me. I'm currently flying a sled in the bush, and I should be hitting my ATP mins in the spring. ANC based is a must for me.

The ANC FOs who upgrade to CA will stay. ANC will just no longer be the junior CA base.

How long would it take to hold even reserve in ANC for Horizon?

Horizon has that deal to get interviews into Alaska, in that case does AS still require a degree?

It's so nice out! I don't want to go back to work. I want to enjoy the Alaskan sunshine.
