How is the QOL at Colgan? Management? Bases?

Could be great, could be among the worst in the industry. It just depends on your goals and expectations.

Here I'll translate this:

"If you have low expectations, QOL will be great. If you have high expectations, QOL will be low."

oh you left out one...if you are just plain dumb...you can be a colgan...or management all the same...well for a lil while longer

or you could be a total cynic like fosters. My QOL really sucks. I'm home everynight, off 16 days this month, and just over 100 hrs pay credit. Some ppl get screwed without cause. The majority that get hosed at colgan let it happen to themselves.

This is the most absurd post I have ever read, EVER! I was shorted pay numerous times, Had my days off taken away, and never returned to me (NEVER AT XJT, Thanks to ALPA). Have flown part 91 after 8 hrs of flying 121. Have slept in hangers in sub zero temperatures, the list goes on and on, yes some have it better than others, my experience was awful, ABE was slightly better than ALB, but whatever you do, I urge you to stay far far far far far far far far away from a MX base. I am not syaing this is how COLGAN treates all of their pilots, but I myself and my buddy FLAVA FLAV up in ALB ;)

Saab why did your stay at ALB? Your number could have held a decent line at another base?

You say QOL was bad, it could only have been better at another base. Maybe Jamestown?

I've talked to some Colgan 1900 pilots in ALB and they say you're an absolute tool, so maybe it wasn't all Colgan. Maybe you thought you were better than CJC.

Don't talk to me about QOL either. You're a Saab FO, girls aren't impressed, so you shouldn't have a social life, and you don't have the money to go anywhere's anyway!

Your funny, I didnt know any Beech guys, go ask the SAAB CA's we had a blast, " I talked to the beech guys" what a joke.

The only Beech guy I have ever talked to in ALB was the FO who had to go down to the Brain Factory with his lawyer to get his paycheck, yeah theres a class act airline.

Why dont you go ask Mike W, Gill B, Falvio C, Paul, & James what they thought about me. If your going to lie you have to come up with something better than " I talked to the Beech guys"............thats sad, just plain sad


The sad part is you are defending an airline that treats its pilots like slaves, when has your company ever gone to bat for you???????? I know when they bust guys on their PC's becuase they had the balls to stand up to the poor management at COLGAN, Sad thing is you are comfortable at Colgan makin 40 bucks and hr as CA, goodluck with yuor future sounds pretty bright
