Every time I head overseas it puts a toll on me, with the jet lag and timezones, maybe other handle it better. It's gonna be tough on a reserve schedule with 11-12 days off, eating up a good 6-7 hours for the flight alone.

I can't imagine commuting from Europe for a regional job unless you were a very senior captain and could bid back to back high-credit trips. I don't see how it could work as an FO or junior CA. Also, LHR has pretty high departure taxes, over a $100 a pop I think, depending on the £. Not sure if there's a way around them as a jumpseater.
