One of these other two carriers moving in there would mean that Delta was expanding out of SLC in addition to all the expansion going on with the Skywest 900's right now. I am not saying that this will not happen. I just don't see it as a likely scenario, especially with Skywest having the ability to undercut anyone trying to move in on SLC.

SKW has a contractual right to 60% (or something like that) of any NEW delta regional flying. I also can't imagine that DL would want to **** off SKW by moving another carrier into SLC...that was SKW country when SKYW sold their own tickets, before DL had a position in SLC. That market belonged to SKW (and Western) long before DL.

Dont move to SLC...they have funky rules about buying alcohol.

Oh whats this, we have another certificate now? Wonder how long it will take to convert piltos from saab 340's to crj 900's. They have been making crap money for so long they'll like that 50 seat rate.

Pinnacle doesnt fly saabs..

I don't exactly consider pinnacle just below mesa. And i am not a jet u guy so there are a few of us around here who didn't go that route. I am here for the bases, and the potential. I can guarantee you our next contract is going to be something we can be proud of. Our pilot group is pretty much ready to do ANYTHING to get some major improvements. The only reason we have the contract we have now is because we thought the company was going out of business when it was signed. You know, kinda like what happened at mesaba,, lies, lies, lies. You can only fool us once.

Gee, ya think? Did you honestly think they would place 10 aircraft? If it was going to happen it would've been a much larger lift agreement.

BoilerUP 02-13-2007 07:53 AM

Funny how everybody is talking about this like Pinnacle is a slam-dunk to get these 900s...when they can barely staff their own Northwest flying. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain in CVG that just got a concessionary TA...

Whoring ourselves out like most other regionals isnt what we do, why you guys are proud to Whor yourselves out for dirt is beyond me. Just like I cant wait to see how much COLGAN whors themselves out to LARRY for the Q400's
