This is frustrating because so many Delta pilots look down their noses at the regionals. Very very rarely will they speak to us on the shuttle, or acknowledge us in anyway. It's mostly the "Deltas" Pilots that seem to do it. Last time I checked their name was Delta Air Lines, not Deltas Air Lines.

I don't think it's their feelings that are hurt but their wallets. Asking for help to make even MORE money from the very same people they sold down the river for a few more pieces of silver is deplorable. Regional F.O.'s eating tuna out of a pouch because they can't afford to go into the terminal and buy a sandwich is equally the same.

The NWA pilots don't act like they're better than everyone else. It's always the original legacy Delta pilots that seem to act that way. Hence the "Deltas" comment. It's not about them saying hi to the regional crews, it's the fact that they won't even acknowledge us and show a little respect, yet they ask for the regional pilots to picket with them. It said full uniform, hat including is to be worn. Will they look down on us at 9E if we show up and don't have a hat?

I really don't know a darn thing about Delta. Never jumped on them, never flew as a pax, and never provided lift. All I can say is the persona they propagate, type A elitists who are better than everyone else. Then I remember I do the same exact job they do, as well as they do, with far less pay. So perhaps they are better than I because they make more money, with a better QOL? Is it really just about the image presented, being part of the "pretty person club"? Man what a stupid dribel filled post I just made, I must really be bored!

Btw, I picketed as a 9E pilot with XJ years ago during their bankruptcy deal. NW, DL, WN, UA all came out as well.
