Why Republic?

Ive been with republic for 6 months and im happy so far. I got the base i wanted (MCI) right out of training and only spent 1 month reserve before i got a line (hoping the line will stick) most bases are 3 to 6 months reserve though. PIT is super junior right now.
I commute in from LAX and im still happy with my choice of Republic over other west coast based regionals, ok maybe a little salty that i have to commute that far.
I was sold on the little things like no junior manning and no hot reserve, though the contract does allow hot reserve if one day they decide to pull a fast one. Pay is good, training was great and i love the aircraft. So far no real beef from me im happy with republic

Ahhhh, LR90 must be part of the negotiating committee for the 357. They did same thing for the loa.
After we allowed lift and unlimited money to be thrown at new hires, this is our only leverage.....the internet

BUT.... Did the LOA really cause the loss of leverage. They were still able to offer huge bonuses under the 2015 CBA. Oh and for all the BB Kool-Aid drinkers, the 2015 CBA was basically presented by the company as a LLLLLLBFO. I remember something like “well we will just go bankrupt and deal with this mess”.
