Default Any new info on bases for RAH?

What I'd really like to know is how difficult it is to get PIT as a crew base?

Two people from my 11/29 class were able to get it during training. Even though it's senior, you might get lucky.

Thank you for the info so far... Does anyone know anything about CMH as a crew base?

CMH has been steadily getting new hires for several months now. Give it three months and it may go senior. Give it another three months and it will be junior again. It fluctuates back and forth. Most of the time you can get it out of training or within two-three months though.

PIT is the most senior, but it's coming back down to be based there. Still most senior for holding a line.

I was hired 1/17/17 and was awarded PIT in September which came from the MAY base bid, which I was one of like 8 people. The most Junior person from the May bid was a mid March hire. It is only being filled via Senior FO's upgrading.

Anyone commute from ATL to DCA or LGA? I noticed that many of the flights from ATL to DCA are on RAH, so I assume being on own "metal" should be an easier commute?

Yes and no.

On Delta we have a low priority even on our own metal.

On AA we have AAC priority on our own metal which means we go before any other non-rev traveler, minus positive spaces. However, when you list as a commuter on AA we are listed the same as any other airline commuter. The only way to use the AAC is via using your AA leisure travel perks (you must sign up and pay for them as a new hire) which charge a $1.28 segment fee.

So if the flight is wide open, I list as commuter, if it's tight and there are AA or AA WO people listed, I will pay the 1.28 to bump them all down. Haven't yet had to use the AAC listing for commuting though.

Thanks for the info. Essentially from what you are stating, commuting from ATL has not been an issue for you? I am looking at RAH but the commute will sway the vote if offered a CJO. $1.28 I can handle!

Also, does anyone have an update on reserve times in LGA, EWR and CMH?
