Default Republic policy on FAR 117 extensions

Just trying to do some comparisons, but how does Republic treat FAR 117 extensions?

-How often do you need to extend, or are asked to extend?
-If you extend, do you get anything in return?
-If you don't extend, how is pay handled?
-If you don't extend, are there any repercussions?

Not sure this is helpful, but in a year and a half I've been asked once. My duty days rarely exceed 11 hours so it doesn't come up much for me.

If you refuse to extend they ask you if you are sick or fatigued. If you have half a brain you tell them your fatigued. Then you are pay protected according to the fatigue mou. The Mou says you are pay protected and all fatigue calls are non punitive except personal pilot at fault. If it is ruled pilot at fault then you will be issued an occurrence and you can choose to use pdo's for pay. Just out of curiosity why are you asking the same question on all regional threads?
