Default Pushing class date back?

Hey Everyone,

Have a question. I am scheduled for a atp-ctp course in about 6 weeks and indoc about 8 weeks. I am selling my house and may have to push back the dates. How does Republic feel about that? Will they hold it against me? Can I do the atp-ctp course and push back indoc a month? How much notice should I give? Is 2 weeks before atp-ctp course ok?

Thanks

Risky given how much things have slowed down. Had this been March, I'd have said no problem.

Risky meaning they can take away job offer? I got job offer early Aug. That would give me until Feb. to be within the 6 months. Thanks

I don’t think you would have to worry if u r just asking. If they can’t work around your schedule can you just attend as scheduled to ensure your job isn’t at risk? If you are giving them no wiggle room . . . I wouldn’t push my luck. Just my $.02

I wouldn't push it back. With the way they are hiring, that could be 100 infront of you and even longer in a base you don't want while sitting reserve.

Go to indoc for 3 days, then you'll be home for awhile in the training backlog.

You don't have to be there for the closing either, sign your paperwork early or have your realtor sign as power of attorney.

I have sold two houses long distance, across state lines with those houses in different states. You don't need to be there, unless your state has some law against it. Ask your realtor or title company

All you need to do is have the closing documents emailed to you and then notarized in front of a witness on day of closing. Email signed documents for proof of signing on appropriate day and overnight with what keys you may have. Most kinko's or ups stores have notaries and work friendly hours.
