More than likely yes as many of the pairings for that base originate with it's the first leg of a trip to a hub and end with a leg back to base from a hub.

Way to early to tell honestly since the vacancy was just announced today. Will take at least 4-5 months to really sift out to what they will be.

For others who may ask, SDF will likely be senior on the captain side given the amount of SDF commuters to IND and other bases from the CHQ days.

My wild ass guess would be BOS is going to go pretty senior in both seats. We have a lot of BOS-LGA/DCA commuters already. Only 32 seats to fill in both seats, and I'm sure there's a few other guys that would love to get out of LGA.

Thanks for the wag, I'm in training with another company. I live in Boston and that is real appealing and got me thinking.

Being an MX base, I would suspect all 3.

If you're going to commute already, it's certainly worth a look. You'll be able to get BOS eventually. Anything is better than commuting.

Can’t help but feel like this is setting up for ORD and/or IAH to close. Unless Republic picks up more flying from one of the codeshare partners.

Unless this is followed by more flying for one code share...

I hope this means additional flying/growth and not the expense/loss of any of our other bases. Only time will tell....

This got me thinking...
How long should one wait until quitting for a different airline? I've heard that if you leave too early, it can look like a training failure on your record. Anyone have any general guidance on that?
