Heard the commute is brutal Dallas to Houston. True? I hear of people making the drive of 4 hrs than flying even with the frequency of flights between the two.

Only sector I've ever been bumped off from.

I haven’t experienced it but did plan on commuting from Dallas to Houston before my plans changed and the general consensus is that it’s extremely common to get bumped.

Hey Ghawk, thanks for the information on bases, helps in making decisions for sure!

What is the hire date for junior line holder in MCI?

MCI is relatively senior on the CA side and has been trending that way for FOs over the past few months. Junior lineholder is a 11/18 hire but that's for February (I think the slowest flying month of the year) so I would expect that to be a little more junior as the flying picks up heading into the summer months.

Its tough unless you have own metal priority, but doable.

It requires some leg work. You have to look at the final awards posted in flica and find the junior lineholder in each base, then cross reference it with the seniority list.
