Word on the street is that Republic is backing out of the Known Crew Member program tomorrow the 16th because it costs to much.

Where you really out on the street when you heard this?

yes our wonderful managment has decided to opt out of the program just to make our lifes that much better. anyone who thinks this is a good place to work should look at this action. they will do anything they can to make the employees lifes miserable.

They claim that this will cost 40000/month to the company ... you make your decision how much you are worth to this pos company

Doubt if it will make you feel any better, but it sounds like the Frontier side probably won't be getting it either.

Known crewmember is not that big of a deal. It's only coming to just about every major airport there is. Going through security the old fashioned way is no big deal.

I'm not trying to be a smarta$$, but everybody has a better relationship with BB then you guys do. ;)

Apparently, having a "better" relationship isn't worth $3.00 a month per pilot, at least at this point. Officially, it's "under review", but that sounds closer to, "No thanks" than, "Yeah, probably."

We'll see, just like you guys, it's not exactly the most important issue we're all facing.
