When in doubt, blame the IBT!!!

Also, I'm just as interested in a divorce as F9 pilots are. Have you seen any real evidence, besides corporate propaganda, that this will occur any time soon? It seems like the timeline for a spin off gets pushed back months at a time.
It is getting pushed back, but it is going to happen. We cannot just snap our fingers and make it go away. Takes time to bring everything back to Denver where it should have been all along. At least we agree on the divorce part. We both cannot wait.
How is OUR amalgamated contract coming along?
So, what do you have to say about SWA and Airtran doing the Apple flying for USA3000?
I here Crickets!

I don't get the arguement. Someone summarize it so I don't have to think hard and read all the bickering.

Eagle is a regional. All other regionals are the same---they do not own their routes. In the near future---other regionals will be bidding on the same contract flying that Eagle does. Good/bad--right/wrong-- fair/not fair--reality is what it is. As long as you work for a contract carrier--you do not own your flying. And what comes with that is what it is. We just saw what happened to Comair. Hope for the best but be aware of what can and will happen. The writing is on the wall. Good luck to all.

Yeah it doesn't shock me the whole other airlines bidding on American flying thing. I mean doesn't us air have wholly owned regionals and others that fly for it? What about Colgan flying beech 1900s out of laguardia For continental in the late 90s while there was continental express? Being owned = nothing

Yup. Bet the intended recipient won't miss it though.

He's scurrying along the baseboards on another thread.

You absolutely contribute to getting new contracts by being willing to work for a disgraceful wage for the size of equipment your on. I am sick and tired of the default Republic pilot response, "not my fault, I'm just doing what I'm told". No. You decided to work at a slave labor shop in order to further your career, and try to fast track yourself to where you hope to be someday. Most of you are byproducts of SJS, and deficiencies at realizing your own self worth. That is the sole reason Republic has grown over the years. Cheap labor.

What have YOU to say to the guys that went to republic and are trying to get a better contract? Unless your on the negotiating committee at a regional I'm afraid you don't have much of a leg to Stand on. My hats off for the republic guys that haven't given in til a turd sandwich yet. So how are you fixing the mess? Where do YOU work?
