Default Interviews with both Republic and Eagle

I just booked an interview with both Republic and American Eagle within a week of each other. I know it's a little early to speculate, but I have to start thinking about where I will go if I happen to get both offers. Thoughts?

There's already many threads about each company. There is also a fairly recent one comparing both. Good luck.

I would deffinately go to both interviews, then go with your gut. I personally think Republic is taking advantage of guys new to the industry who are desperate to fly a large regional jet. Don't fall for that B.S.
See what they both have to offer, weigh up the pros and cons and make your move.
Either way you will get some valuable interview experience under your belt

How are they taking advantage or guys new to the industry? Will they be flying under a different contract than the republic pilots that aren't new to the industry?

Would the ATP guys with their Raybans be flocking there if they flew Beech 1900's? Of course not. They wanna fly the jet that looks like an Airbus. Republic knows that which is why they get away with a sub standard contract.
The guys that are already there? Who knows. Maybe they didn't have the choice between Eagle and Republic like this guy does.

Where do you want to live? Go with one that has a base where you want to live. Commuting blows.

At this point I am stuck commuting no matter what. My wife's job won't allow us to relocate. Fortunately I am close to Orlando so most bases are a one leg commute.
