No, the CS100 replaces regional jets, the CS300 replaces MD's.

Delta is not taking any of RAH's delivery slots.

delta will replace the b717 for the c series, the c will be more comfortable and way more economic than the 717.
Delta is not replacing an aircraft they literally just finished getting into service. The 717's are going to be around for at least a decade. The first thing they'll be replacing is the 190's that just went away.

You're literally living on another planet if you honestly think Delta is going to give up on the 717. An airframe which was been extremely successful for them.

Most ridiculous idea I have heard in 10 years.

Since the 190 never arrived, is it even possible for it to go away?

Southwest is still paying for the leases for the 717s, and we have the option to purchase at the end of the leases.... we'll see what happens.

Looks like the judge is going to rule tomorrow on the Delta agreement at 11:30am. It says (the bench ruling will be under seal) not sure how to process that. Does it mean the ruling will not be made public ?

I believe RAH is going to fly the C-Series within the United States with NAI as a codeshare partner. Probably even attempt to workout a fee for departure scenario since we all saw how well RAH did with the Frontier operation.

I also think gate space and slots into hubs will be the only thing that could possibly prevent this.

You have to think that if they do this, their other codeshares would retaliate.

It would be a violation of the scope with Delta. What everyone is missing here is it takes very little money to secure a delivery position. Generally it's not until 18 months prior to delivery that any real penalty for canceling a delivery occurs. Hence no need to take action in court. They can simply away. With the failure of Bombardier to deliver the aircraft even close to ontime I doubt the cost to get out of the orders will be anything for RAH.

RAH has 17 million tied up in c series. They r in the works of putting all pilots on republic cert- said pilots will fly both certs via a Multiple Operations Training Compliance Program. It's in the cba language. This in theory will allow rah to keep legacy us airways birds w/80 seats and not violate delta scope. As for c series.....I dunno how rah pilots would be able to fly those n not violate every code share scope. But who knows, bb will just say a prayer n god may just give him the answer.

Rah is waiting for bombardier to default on there delivery date that was in contract. They would get the 17million back, So I was yold
