Most junior award is a Dec 15 hire (for an Oct 1st effective date). Most junior pilot in the base for august was a sept 15 hire.

Got the call yesterday, about four days after interviewing at the Brickyard event. Really enjoyed everything and the people were all great! Looking forward to starting in the next couple months, just need to grind out the last 200 hours!

I too am looking at Republic.
Reasonably, what would my gross yr 1 salary be? (base, per diem ect.) do they have a flow? decent upgrade? I apologize for the mediocre questions as I'm pretty much a noob thus far.

It's wise to consider what your minimum salary would be. This would be the $7500 signing bonus (if they are still offering that, check with your recruiter) + $40/hr * 75 hrs/month * 12 months. That would be minimum guarantee. It comes out to $43,500. My per diem is going to be roughly $7000 for my first year. So a total gross salary of $50,000 your first year is not unreasonable.

Republic is not a wholly-owned company and does not have any flow through agreements.

The current upgrade time is 3.9 years and seems to be dropping slowly.
