It’s out. Not gonna post whole thing, but I find this interesting to say the least. NTSB used FO’s personal IPhone to find a bunch of text messages about the capt’s less adequate judgment and instrument abilities. Maybe I haven’t been paying attention, but this is the first I’ve seen something so personal cracked open by NTSB. Not sure how to feel about it, but clearly big brother is watching...

The word “speechless” wasn’t part of the speech. :p

Here's the CCTV footage. Warning, it shows the crash and may be disturbing to some.

The inevitable result when there is no pilot on board.

It would appear that the cockpit was populated by passengers.

Isn't this the same outfit that had a fatal midair with Shorts 360's while formation flying over Wisconsin?

The real question is how a Shorts crashed that fast. They travel slow enough that they are often mistaken for flying in reverse and are frequently found camoflaged in discarded misshapen piles of refridgerator boxes.

Several thousand hrs in the box and I can’t understand it either. Very forgiving plane but ya still gotta fly it. Also, an aircraft without an operable autopilot means your instrument skills should be sharp as heck. I know I’ll never be as sharp at hand flying on instruments as I was on that plane.
