I certainly hope this wasn't the case in Freeport.

It “shouldn’t” be, as there’s no checklist for that procedure except as a maintenance action on the ground.

That article on my envoy air about Bahamas flying being back did not age well

Yes. They were transferring hyd fluid from sys 1 to 2 in flight and accidentally left the parking brake set.

Same system on the Brazildo, has also caused same issue(landing with parking brake set).

That’s a fairly lengthy and in depth procedure. That flight was only 22 minutes from off to on.
I’m thinking more along the lines of a possible brake controller failure.

No it isn't as far as I remember.

Assuming you want to move fluid from system 2 back to 1 its:

While holding toe breaks, put parking brake on.
Release toe breaks, then release the parking brake.
Repeat.

Which also doesn’t appear in any checklists or MEL’s available to pilots from memory, for exactly the reason the company didn’t want anyone landing with the park brake on.

Sure, that's systems knowledge rather than procedure.

I’ve never broken a toe. I’ve broken fingers and even vertebrae but never toes.

“Move” fluid from one system to another? Gross.
