Default AOPA’s Richard McSpadden Dies in Crash

Never met the man personally, but I am a great admirer. He had an excellent safety podcast with AOPA and did an enormous amount of work with them as their safety director. What a shame that a former Thunderbirds commander and flight lead, as well as one who studied GA accidents and safety so much should die in his own airplane crash at the start of a magazine photo shoot. Rest in peace.

RIP, Nickel on the Grass.

Seem ironic, but sounds like he was going for a ride with a friend in the other guy's plane.
