The wind favored runway 28. Wonder why they landed 1 (assuming that since a previous poster, impilot2, indicated they were located North)?

Richard and Angela Dotson..... IIRC.....
I'd say true professionals.... but they were probably NWA..... : ) |
If someone already looked it up can you pm the crew names to me. Curious if I know them.

Where's XJTGUY when we need him? haha
I've been to Savannah a couple of times. I almost, and I mean by the skin of my chinny chin chin, slide off the end of the runway (the one with the downward slope) during a rain storm. It will be interesting to learn what happened here. |

Here is a funny story, we were flying in there a few months back while the CA was getting a line check. The LCA was making a big deal about briefing if the runway was grooved. He lead in with the story off the last crew that went off in savannah and added the fact that "it even happened to a pilot that was usually an instructor" My CA made a remark something to the fact "well there ya go, line pilots don't land on that runway" we use the long e/w runway, maybe instructors do since the numbers are there but line guys don't. Thought so. Thanks. |

Told you, you'll have to look elsewhere for that internet bromance you're seeking.
