Every 121 category airplane has its challenges during training. We've had a few CRJ guys wash out of our training just as I'm sure you've had prop guys wash out of yours. I don't think you'd ever make it to IOE until you're ready because I don't know many who don't pass it. Not every airline has a fed ride. We're AQP so we don't have them. A prop CAPTAIN should have no issues transitioning to a left sean in a RJ. If they do, then they were never a strong captain/ pilot in the first place but please don't say that it's easier to be a prop captain. It would be nice of every captain flew right seat for 6 months before upgrading in that same equipment, it's just not always practical. |
